Rock Baby will be one tomorrow, unbelievable that the year has gone so fast in a blink of an eye. Its also been 5 months since she started treatment on her birthmark which as some of you may have read on previous posts it was a worrying decision for us to make, whether to go ahead and let her be part of a new drugs trial using the drug propronal.
However now we are very pleased we made the decision to go ahead and I wanted to post a picture of Rock Baby below when her mark was at its biggest and a picture taken just last week. The change is amazing.
The above picture was taken about 6 months ago
This Picture was taken on Christmas Day! We are all so happy it was definitely worth the worry :)
Wow, what a difference. I can understand it being a worrying decision to make but at the same time I'm sure you thought long and hard about it and have done what you felt is right for your daughter.
ReplyDeleteOh Wow, I know just how hard the decision to do this was for all of you. The difference is remarkable. What a wonderful outcome. She was beautiful anyway.
ReplyDeleteTransoformed! Although a part of her it was qute disfiguring, wasn't it? She's a little cutie! She's also the same age as our twins :)

Just wanted to say thank you for blogging about this. My son is one month old and is developing a similar birthmark right in the same spot. These posts are helping me to see that it isn't a bad idea to consult a dermatologist- also good o know I'm not alone in worrying, and then chastising myself for worrying about what is essentially a cosmetic issue.
